Our colleague Aleš Hradil has been with the law firm DUNOVSKÁ & PARTNERS for 10 years! Aleš is an indispensable part of our team and a support and inspiration for everyone around him. With his professional approach and dedication, he has contributed to the successful resolution of numerous projects. Since 10 years is quite a significant milestone, we happily celebrated this occasion with Aleš and raised a glass of good prosecco to many more years together.

The legal team of DUNOVSKÁ & PARTNERS specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions provided legal advice to ČSOB, a.s. in connection with the provision of an acquisition loan for the purchase of a company owning an office building with a retail store and a restaurant located at Náměstí Svobody, right in the heart of the city of Brno.

We are pleased to announce that Ondrej Kvašňovský is the latest of our junior associates to have successfully passed the bar exam. Ondra is an excellent lawyer, so it came as no surprise to anyone in the office that the examination board awarded him the highest grade, “outstanding.”

As of September 1st 2024, Ondra has joined our experienced team of attorneys. Clients can continue to reach out to him as usual, and Ondra will provide first-class advice, particularly in the areas of corporate law, banking, and capital markets.

For our client, an entrepreneur in the field of photovoltaics,  we provided comprehensive legal advice in respect of the acquisition of a 50% stake in the holding company, which is engaged in the development of photovoltaic parks. Our advice included not only the negotiation of transaction documentation and settlement but also the implementation of corporate changes within a large holding structure. Congratulations to our client and colleagues Jan Vavřina and Václav Mánek.

We are pleased to announce that we had the opportunity to collaborate with BTL Healthcare Technologies, on a significant transaction that will greatly contribute to the development of the iconic Prague landmark, Lucerna Palace. As part of this transaction, we assisted our client in acquiring ownership of this historic building. Our assistance included negotiation and preparation of all transaction documentation. We are particularly delighted with this project because it holds great social significance and will allow Mrs. Dagmar Havlová to continue the ongoing reconstruction of Lucerna Palace.

For the eighth time in a row, the Bank Board appointed Mgr. David Urbanec for another yearly term as a member of the Appeals Commission of the Czech National Bank.

The Appeals Commission is an advisory body for the preparation of draft decisions of the CNB Bank Board issued in administrative proceedings – in particular the commission discusses appeals against CNB decisions and submits proposals, replies and provides legal opinions to the Bank Board. Leading experts in the field of law and economics become members of the Appeals Commission.
